[Kitakyushu City] Participated in the “Asia-Pacific Forum on Green and Low Carbon Development(APLC Forum)”, an international event hosted by the Government of Hunan Province and the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

The Asia-Pacific Forum on Green and Low Carbon Development, an international event hosted by the Government of Hunan Province and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), was held on 20-22 October 2021. This is the fifth forum is to be conducted after the signing of the MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) between the Government of Hunan Province and the ADB in 2015. The last four forums have brought together various dignitaries, business managers, and experts from over 40 countries, as well as 10 UN agencies and international organizations.

During the three days of the event, Kitakyushu City gave a keynote speech on the second day: “Green Development and Legitimate Carbon Targets: Challenges and Pathways for Local Governments and Businesses”.
