COP28: “Act Together for 1.5℃ : How a Whole-of-Japan Can Realize a Sustainable and Decarbonized Society”
The Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) organized an event at the COP28 Japan Pavilion that attracted a diverse group of participants, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The event focused on the realization of the 1.5°C target, particulary toward medium-term targets such as 2030 and 2025.

There was an enthusiastic discussion from the standpoints of all sectors on how each sector can contribute towards a sustainable decarbonized society, how society as a whole should work towards this, and what policies are needed.
