The 26th “ICLEI Café” as a special session with JICA

The 26th session of “ICLEI Cafe,” a workshop series on sustainable cities was held at JICA on 4 March.

ICLEI Japan held a special study session for international cooperation in the waste sector, in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Shibushi City presented their activities in Sri Lanka and Naha City introduced their initiative in Vietnam. Togo Uchida, Executive Director of ICLEI Japan presented the importance of participating in international cooperation from a local governments’ point of view. We could share knowledge on opportunities of international cooperation in the waste sector for local governments.
