The Inaugural ICLEI GexCom-Council Meeting

In conjunction with the ICLEI World Congress 2021, Kyoto City attended GexCom-Council Meeting on 12 April as the chair of ICLEI Regional Committee in East Asia. Mayor Kadokawa delivered his
introduction message through the pre-recorded.
In addition, H.E. Shinjirō Koizumi, Minister of the Environment and Minister in charge of Climate Change, Government of Japan delivered the keynote address including “Redesign”, “Zero Carbon
City” and “Decarbonization Domino Effect” through the prerecorded video at “Towards Low Emission and Climate Neutral Development for a Sustainable Urban World” on 15 April.
