The Daring Cities 2025 Bonn Dialogue was held face-to-face in Bonn, Germany, 16-18 June 2025.

Kazuhisa Takeuchi, Mayor of Kitakyushu City, Japan, participated in the event on 18 June and spoke at the session “Multi-level New Generation Partnerships in Difficult Times”, introducing the multi-level initiatives currently being taken by its citizens, businesses, and governments in the city to achieve “world-leading sustainable cities”. The role of the city was powerfully communicated.

Mayor Takeuchi also attended a high-level roundtable meeting organized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on the 17th, the day before, and in the evening of the same day, he joined in a reception event organized by the Mayor of Bonn, where he exchanged views and interacted with leaders from countries and cities around the world, including the Mayor Katja Dörner, City of Bonn, Germany.
