Welcoming International Interns from Taiwan

ICLEI Japan welcomed two international interns from Taiwan starting in July. The two interns are from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, and are currently studying food safety and environmental analysis, as well as sustainable industrial management. With a strong interest in sustainability fields, including climate change, biodiversity, and the circular economy, they aspire to pursue careers related to these areas in the future.
During their approximately two-month internship, they will deepen their understanding of sustainable urban development initiatives led by local governments and the role of international networks in advancing sustainability. They will also primarily support activities related to the Asia Circular Cities Declaration (ACCD).
With the support and fresh perspectives of these young interns, ICLEI Japan will continue to promote and support the sustainability initiatives of its member cities.
