Call for Application! ESD Okayama Award 2022

The ESD Okayama Award 2022 is open for entry! |
The world is facing severe challenges due to the ongoing global pandemic of COVID-19 and wars and conflicts. We are aware that organizations may be having difficulties in continuing their activities. Even more so than under normal circumstances, we would like to encourage eligible organizations to apply for the award and share their activities and experiences with the world.
- Eligibility: Organizations based in any country and region implementing ESD activities in local communities are eligible to apply for the Award.
- Number of Award Winning Projects: Up to two projects
- Prize: US $3,000 per project
- Deadline for application: 15 July 2022 (Friday), 5pm (Japanese Standard Time)
Award Ceremony: One representative of the winning project(s) will be invited to the Award Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and requested to give a presentation on the project. The date of the event is 19 November 2022 (Saturday). It has not been decided yet to be in-person or online.

Associate Partnership is available to non-governmental organizations, universities, state and national government agencies and not-for-profit research institutions. The purpose of Associate Partnership is to facilitate dialogues between local governments and these partners, to provide knowledge transfer in line with ICLEI’s Mission and Charter, and an avenue for which partners can support ICLEI’s work and mandate.
