環境省等が実施するイベント「日本・マレーシア環境ウィーク」が10月15日（水）から17日（金）までマレーシア・クアラルンプール市で開催されます。
本イベントは、マレーシアの環境改善及び持続可能な発展に貢献する環境インフラ技術の導入・普及を目的とし、日本の知見・経験や環境技術を紹介するテーマ別セミナー/ビジネスピッチ/ブース出展等を、環境インフラのトップセールスとともに一体的に開催し、日本とマレーシアのビジネスマッチングを促進するものです。

10月16日（木）午後の「High-level and Plenary Sessions」には、福島県の学生が｢ふくしまカーボンニュートラルアンバサダー｣として登壇し、イクレイ日本の内田東吾事務局長が進行役を務めます。福島県は、「学生の海外派遣によるカーボンニュートラル発信事業」を推進しており、イクレイ日本は、本事業において活躍する学生の選考や、海外派遣前の研修などにも関わらせていただいております。
