環境省は、気候変動枠組条約（UNFCCC）事務局、イクレイ、IGESの協力のもと、2021年３月17 日（水）～18 日（木）に「脱炭素都市国際フォーラム」をオンラインで開催します。

世界の脱炭素化に向けては都市レベルの取組が重要であり、日本国府及び環境省は、国内都市の脱炭素化に向けた取組を推進するとともに、国内都市と海外都市の連携を推進しています。

本フォーラムでは、脱炭素化に向けた都市の取組を世界的に加速させることを目的として、国内外の多様な都市及び関連団体を招き、先進事例を共有するとともに、都市間連携の強化等の必要な方策について議論します。

日時：2021年3月17日（水）18:00～20:10、翌18日（木）16:00～20:00
