Daring Cities 2025 は、イクレイとドイツ・ボン市が共催する一連のイベントで、オンラインのウェビナーシリーズと6月にボン市で対面開催されるボン・ダイアログで構成されています。今年のテーマは「マルチレベルの行動による、より強力な国家気候計画」です。
イクレイの戦略である「イクレイ・サンパウロ戦略ビジョン 2024-2030」は、持続可能な開発に向けた変革への道筋であり、地方自治体の声を反映し、真に持続可能な都市世界のために何が必要かを示すものです。
【開催報告】アゼルバイジャン・バクーで開催されたCOP29は、会期を2日延長し、2024年11月24日に閉会しました。COP29の最大の焦点とされていたのは、「資金」でした。COP29の閉幕に際し、自治体（LGMA）構成組織は、15年ぶりの主要な気候資金に関する合意を歓迎しました。
【開催報告】2024年10月21日からコロンビア・カリ市にて開催されていた、国連の生物多様性条約第16回締約国会議（COP16）が、会期を一日延長し、11月2日に閉幕しました。COP16は期待されたような結論には至らなかったものの、いくつかの力強い成果を達成しました。
【開催報告】Daring Cities 2024は、対面会議の「ボン・ダイアログ」とオンラインのバーチャル・フォーラムで構成される一連のイベントであり、今年で5回目の開催となります。「気候危機への対応に向けた集団行動を推進する」をテーマに掲げ、世界中の政策立案者やリーダー間の交流促進、知識共有、革新的な気候行動を紹介しました。
【開催報告】6月18日から21日に開催されたイクレイ世界大会2024は、世界的なリスクと変化の激化により、都市が直面する重大な課題と機会を強調し、前向きなビジョンを提供しました。

「イクレイ（ICLEI）－持続可能な都市と地域をめざす自治体協議会」は、持続可能な未来の構築に取り組む市、町、地域からなる世界的なネットワークです。
1990年9月5日、ニューヨークの国連本部に43カ国から200都市を代表する地方自治体関係者が集まり、イクレイが誕生しました。以来、イクレイは125カ国以上2,500以上の地方自治体によるグローバルタスクフォースの中心的存在となりました。
2020年、イクレイは設立30周年を迎えました。

京畿道（キョンギド）は、1995年にイクレイに加盟して以来、最も長年のメンバーのひとつであり、韓国における持続可能な開発のパイオニアです。2023年には、イクレイ韓国のホスト自治体（2023-2027年）に選ばれ、持続可能な開発のための地域拠点としての役割を強化しました。
イクレイのグローバル執行委員会のメンバーでもあるキム・ドンヨン京畿道知事は、京畿道のエネルギー使用量の100％を再生可能エネルギーで賄うことを目指す「京畿RE100ビジョン」のような大胆なイニシアティブの先頭に立っています。2026年までに再生可能エネルギーを9GWに拡大し、排出量を40％削減するという目標を掲げている京畿道は、気候危機を革新的かつ包括的な成長機会に変えようとしています。
Associate Partnership is available to non-governmental organizations, universities, state and national government agencies and not-for-profit research institutions. The purpose of Associate Partnership is to facilitate dialogues between local governments and these partners, to provide knowledge transfer in line with ICLEI’s Mission and Charter, and an avenue for which partners can support ICLEI’s work and mandate.
