自然を基盤とした発展に向けたイクレイの取組
イクレイは、「自然を活かし、自然とともに、自然の中で、自然の一部として」という価値観を取り入れ 、生物多様性と都市開発の専門家による熟練したダイナミックなチームを通じて、地方自治体に幅広いツールや支援サービスを提供しています。急速な都市化が進む中、自然資本の保全、生物多様性の損失、生態系サービスの劣化といった複雑な課題に対処するため、イクレイは各地域の特性に応じた解決策を重視し、イノベーションや自然を重視した政策・意思決定を支援しています。
「CitiesWithNature」 と「RegionsWithNature」は、イクレイ、UNEP、IUCN、WWFをはじめとするさまざまなパートナーが連携して展開するグローバルなプラットフォームです。都市・地域が自然とのつながりを取り戻し、自然との共生を実現していくために、国内外のツールや優良事例、知見・リソースを共有し、持続可能な地域づくりを支援しています。

Associate Partnership is available to non-governmental organizations, universities, state and national government agencies and not-for-profit research institutions. The purpose of Associate Partnership is to facilitate dialogues between local governments and these partners, to provide knowledge transfer in line with ICLEI’s Mission and Charter, and an avenue for which partners can support ICLEI’s work and mandate.
